Terms of sale
Last updated 25 October 2026. These terms apply when you buy Singsteady. If anything is unclear, email hello@escapeplan.software.
1. Who we are, and who sells your order
Singsteady is made and provided by Escape Plan Software Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17262078. Registered office: Suite 10906, 5 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG, United Kingdom. Email: hello@escapeplan.software. We reply within two working days.
Orders are sold through Link. Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company, is the merchant of record for every purchase: it takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, sends your receipts, and handles payment questions sent to it. Link's Sold through Link Terms also apply to your order. These terms cover Singsteady itself and what we promise you.
2. What you're buying
Singsteady is a web app: a daily singing practice plan built from measurements of your voice, with exercises played on a piano, every note you sing scored in cents, a weekly re-check and a progress chart. It runs in your browser; nothing is posted to you. You must be 16 or over to use it and 18 or over to buy it.
Singsteady is a practice tool. It isn't singing lessons from a person, and it isn't medical or voice-health advice. Stop any exercise that hurts or strains, and see a doctor if pain continues.
3. Where we sell
We sell only to customers in the United States and the United Kingdom. If a payment comes from elsewhere we won't open the plan and we'll refund it in full.
4. Price and payment
Prices include any sales tax or VAT. Yearly: $99.99 / £89.99. Monthly: $19.99 / £17.99. The price you pay is shown before you pay. Payments appear on your statement as LINK.COM followed by our name. We never see your full card details.
Partner codes. If you came from one of our partners or typed a partner's code, your first payment is 20% off: on the yearly plan, the first yearly payment after your free trial; on the monthly plan, the first month. Later payments are at the normal price. One discount per order; it can't be combined with other offers. We pay the partner a commission; it doesn't change your price.
5. Free trial and subscriptions
Yearly plan with a 7-day free trial. You give a payment card at the start. Nothing is charged for 7 days. We email you a reminder two days before the trial ends. If you don't cancel before the end of the trial, $99.99 / £89.99 is charged on the date shown at checkout, and the plan renews every year on that date at the price you agreed, until you cancel. One free trial per person.
Monthly plan. No trial. You're charged on the day you buy and every month on the same day, until you cancel. No minimum term.
Reminders. We email you 30 days before each yearly renewal, with the date, the price and how to cancel.
Cancelling. Cancel any time in one click: Account → Cancel subscription. You can also email us and we'll cancel it for you, or cancel in your Link account at link.com. Cancelling a trial means you're never charged. Cancelling a paid plan stops future payments; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Price changes. We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change. If you don't want to continue at the new price, cancel before it applies.
Switching. You can switch from monthly to yearly in your account; the unused part of your month is credited.
6. Gifts
A gift is 3, 6 or 12 months of Singsteady, paid once. It doesn't renew. You get a code straight away, by email and on screen. The months start when the code is redeemed. One code, one person, one use. Codes can be redeemed for 12 months after purchase. If a code hasn't been redeemed, we refund it in full within 30 days of purchase; once redeemed, our 30-day money-back promise applies from the day it was redeemed. A refunded code stops working.
7. Your right to cancel, immediate access and Link's cooling-off period (UK customers)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content. Because Singsteady is unlocked straight away, we ask before you pay that you agree to immediate access and acknowledge that this legal right to cancel ends once it's unlocked (regulation 37).
Link's Sold through Link Terms give UK consumers a 14-day cooling-off period, and our own money-back promise (section 8) covers every payment for 30 days. To use either, contact Link support, or email us at hello@escapeplan.software, without giving a reason. Model cancellation form: To Escape Plan Software Ltd, hello@escapeplan.software. I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following digital content: Singsteady. Ordered on: [date]. Name: [your name]. Email address used to pay: [email]. Date: [date].
8. Our 30-day money-back promise
On top of your legal rights: if Singsteady isn't for you, email hello@escapeplan.software within 30 days of any payment, including a renewal, and we'll refund that payment in full, without questions. Refunds go back to the card you used, usually within 3 to 7 working days. Refund policy.
9. Your legal rights
In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. In the US, you have the rights your state's law gives you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law.
10. Measurements
Pitch is measured in your browser from your microphone. Results depend on your device, microphone and room; the numbers are a practice guide, not a certified measurement. See how we measure.
11. Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Except where the law doesn't allow it, our total responsibility is limited to what you've paid for Singsteady in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes that affect a subscription you've already bought take effect at your next renewal, and we'll email you first.
13. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the US, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live. Please email us first: most problems are solved in a day.
