Mezzo-soprano vocal range: A3 to A5

A trained mezzo-soprano typically sings from A3 to A5, two octaves. Most people who sing for fun use a narrower comfortable range inside that, often around B3 to F♯5.

How to tell if you're a mezzo-soprano

Voice type is mostly about where your voice sits comfortably, not the single highest note you can reach. Measure your lowest and highest easy notes; the type whose range has the closest middle is your most likely fit. Neighbouring types overlap a lot: alto (F3–F5) and soprano (C4–C6).
